Common questions.
What is included during beta?
All features across all tiers are available at no cost during the public beta. That includes multi-seat Team access, cloud sync, the full event log, verification gates, and the desktop app. The goal is to ship the product in real engineering environments before locking the pricing model.
Will pricing change after beta?
Yes — Solo will remain free or very low cost for individual operators. Team and Enterprise pricing will be introduced when we reach general availability. We will announce changes at least 30 days in advance and will not impose retroactive charges.
Can I self-host CAS?
CAS is local-first by design. The control plane daemon runs on your machine against your local repositories. Your code, worktrees, event log, transcripts, and configuration never leave your infrastructure unless you opt into cloud sync. Self-hosting is the default, not an add-on.
How does cloud sync work?
Cloud sync is optional. When enabled, CAS synchronises task state, team rules, shared skills, and template libraries across seats in your organisation. It does not sync your repository content, worktrees, or agent transcripts — those stay on the machines where they were created.
Does CAS train on my code or agent sessions?
No. CAS does not use your codebase, agent transcripts, event logs, or task records to train any model. The data you generate inside a CAS delivery loop is yours.
What agent runtimes are supported?
CAS treats agent runtimes as replaceable workers. Codex and Claude are supported today. Local and open-model backends are on the roadmap. The interface contract — start, send, stream, steer, interrupt, inspect, verify, approve, merge, stop — is the same regardless of which runtime executes the task.
